JSON, Base64 & SHA-256
Format or minify JSON, encode UTF-8 text as Base64, or calculate a SHA-256 digest. Hashing is not encryption. JSON numbers follow JavaScript precision limits.

How it works
JSON uses the browser’s parser; Base64 converts UTF-8 bytes; SHA-256 hashes those bytes with Web Crypto. Encoding is reversible; a digest is not encryption.
Assumptions and limitations
Up to 256 KiB UTF-8. JSON rejects unsafe integers. Base64 and Base64url accept optional canonical padding and ASCII whitespace; unused bits and decoded UTF-8 must be valid. No binary-file encoding. Key sorting changes object order; it is not a canonical-signature format.
How to use this tool
Choose an operation, enter JSON, UTF-8 text or Base64 as appropriate, then run it. Use Copy or Download only after checking the result. Choose indentation, key order, Base64 alphabet/padding or hash output for the selected operation. Use result as input only after a successful run.
Worked example
Demonstration data only. Loading an example replaces the inputs but does not run the tool.
